About Alzate Carpentry
Alzate Carpentry is a family-run carpentry business based in Lambeth. It makes bespoke wardrobes, custom furniture, staircases, storage units, media walls, doors and windows for homes and commercial spaces across London. The business also carries out office and shop fit-outs, custom office furniture, reception desks, retail shelving, partition walls and bespoke wall panelling.
Work begins with a visit to measure and discuss the design. The team creates drawings and shows examples of previous work to help clients visualise the final result. Different options and clear pricing are provided before work starts. The business has a workshop where pieces are made to order and finished with spray lacquer paint. Installation is carried out by the team, who tidy as they work.
Alzate Carpentry serves residential and commercial customers across London. The business draws on a heritage in woodworking, blending traditional techniques with modern innovation. Materials used include sturdy timber. The business also makes bespoke kitchens and custom cabinetry. Clients have commissioned the business for single items such as front doors and beds, and for multiple units across a house. Commercial work includes office refurbishment, retail fit-outs and large-scale developments. Each piece is crafted as a one-off design made to measure for the client's space and aesthetic.
