What it costs

Being listed costs nothing, and neither does claiming your listing.

Claiming your listing lets you keep it right yourself and sends you a monthly report of how often your page was viewed and your number tapped. Claim your listing.

There is one thing you can pay for: Premium, at £12 a month plus VAT. You can cancel renewal at any time and your subscription will not renew any further. It puts an enquiry form on your page and emails you each enquiry with the customer’s job card: the job, how many or how big, the materials and when they need it. It also adds your website as a clickable link, your own price list, photos of your work, your availability and a note above your enquiry form. Premium listings appear towards the top of your town’s lists, town pages and service pages. When several businesses in a town have Premium, they take turns at the top. What Premium includes.

How to get listed

Use the add your business form. It asks for the business name, the town you are based in, a phone number, a website if you have one, and the jobs you take on. If you hold an FMB, TrustMark, BWF or Which? Trusted Traders membership, mention it in the description.

Already listed and something is wrong

Use the modify listing form. Corrections are free and we do not ask for anything in exchange. A listing can be removed only by its verified owner: claim it free to verify it is yours, then remove it from your dashboard.

How we decide the order

Listings with Premium are shown towards the top of their town’s lists, taking turns there each day. Below them: how recently the listing was checked, then how complete it is, then how close the business is to the town centre, and businesses added to the site recently come after the rest. A listing with a phone number, a website and a full service list ranks above one with a phone number alone, and that costs nothing. The terms set the order out in full.
