About Bassett Carpentry Ltd
Bassett Carpentry Ltd is a family-run carpentry and building business based in Southampton. The firm designs, plans and builds extensions, loft conversions, fitted wardrobes, bespoke bunk beds and garden buildings for domestic and commercial projects. Services also include flat and pitched roofing, kitchens, decking, handrails, staircases, suspended ceilings and floors, oak flooring, skylights, wall partitions and timber frame summer houses. Loft ladders in telescopic and wooden styles are fitted, and kitchen worktops, plinths and trims are installed.
Bassett Carpentry covers Hampshire and travels to Dorset and West Sussex. Bespoke bunk beds are made to measure and can be styled around themes chosen by customers, with accessories such as carnival lighting, shelving, ladders and barriers. Fitted wardrobes are made to measure to fit alcove spaces, with options including bi-fold doors, mirror doors, hidden drawers, back panels and LED lighting. Garden buildings include sheds, wheelie bin areas, removable workshops, greenhouses and garden studios, some with double glazed windows or soundproofing. Removable workshops are flat packed and designed to meet building regulations.
Work begins with a visit to measure and plan each project. Free quotes are provided on all services. The business is run by a team of local carpenters and builders who carry out work to a decorated and signed-off stage using professional tradesmen.
