About Fellowes Carpentry
Fellowes Carpentry is a joinery and carpentry business based in Surbiton, Surrey. It makes fitted and free-standing furniture, windows, doors, kitchens, flooring and staircases for residential projects. All work is made in the workshop and can be spray painted or brush painted there to minimise disruption on site.
The business offers constructional carpentry through to fine cabinet making. Windows and doors are made from solid hardwood timbers that are FSC certified from sustainable sources. When MDF is used, it is Medite MDF for consistent quality and stability. Computer aided design is used to develop ideas and ensure accuracy from drawing to installation.
Marcus Fellowes studied furniture design in Yorkshire and worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker in the building and film industries before starting the business in 2004. The business has worked on projects ranging from basic joinery to complex cabinetry and restoration works. A design service helps customers clarify their requirements, and quotations are available on request.
