About Northampton Joinery
Northampton Joinery, trading as The Timber Studio Ltd, is a joinery business in Northampton run by Richard Parker. It designs and builds made-to-measure staircases, windows, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, conservatories and lantern lights in traditional, period and contemporary designs. The business also makes fitted bedroom furniture, fitted bookcases and floor-to-ceiling furniture from many kinds of wood.
The services listed are straight stairs, corner stairs, half turn stairs, three quarter turn stairs, spiral stairs, curved stairs and circular stairs. Window frames, door frames, skirting boards and coving are made to order. Fitted kitchens and fitted wardrobes are built to fit each customer's house and needs exactly as they want them.
The Timber Studio Ltd was established in September 2000 and has a team of experienced joiners and machinists. Everything is handmade in the workshop in Northampton. Timber is sourced from sustainable forests supplied by FSC approved companies, and includes softwood, hardwood and engineered laminated timbers such as accoya and medite tricoya. Glass and ironmongery are sourced from local suppliers to any specification.
The business uses the latest joinery computer software for doors and windows and has machinery to handle all types of joinery. Work begins with a site visit to discuss the design, shape, size, look and finish. A free quotation follows. Once approved, materials are sourced and assembled in the workshop with fixtures and fittings such as hinges, door handles, glass and locks ready for installation. The finished joinery is carefully packed and delivered to the property, or customers can collect it from the workshop.
