About The London Craftsman
The London Craftsman is a family-run joinery and furniture-making business based near St Albans in Hertfordshire. It designs, builds and installs fitted furniture including wardrobes, dressing tables, bunk beds, kitchens and bathrooms, as well as display units, bedroom furniture, desks, bars, stairs, doors, windows, alcove units and decking. All pieces are handmade and made to fit precisely into the space provided.
The business works in London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Ryan, the head joiner, has been in the industry for over 26 years and completed an apprenticeship before starting The London Craftsman. Every component is hand cut, machined and finished by an individual cabinet maker. Materials are selected for durability and appearance. The business has invested in solar panels, cutting its carbon footprint by 60%.
