About The Outdoor Joiner
The Outdoor Joiner is a joinery business in Preston run by Andy, who has over 30 years of experience in bespoke joinery and furniture making. The business designs and builds hardwood and softwood gates, timber doors and windows, pergolas and garden structures, fencing, and composite decking from a fully equipped workshop in Preston.
Gates are made from hardwood or pressure-treated softwood with cladding, rebated posts and double gate centres, or in picket style for windy areas, with an over-the-top frame to hide cabling. Doors and windows are custom-made timber pieces that can include security systems, house names or numbers. Pergolas and garden structures use hardwood and treated softwood in traditional or modern styles. Fencing is made from premium timber designed to withstand strong weather. Composite decking is installed as a low-maintenance outdoor surface.
The Outdoor Joiner covers Preston and the surrounding area. Work starts with a site visit and free quote. Finishing options include staining, painting, oiling or natural finishes, or pieces can be left untreated for customers to finish themselves. The business also provides repairs and maintenance for gates, doors, windows, fencing and decking. Andy offers free advice on stains, oils and paints to preserve outdoor timber. Credit cards are accepted.
