About Carpentry Creations
Carpentry Creations is a carpentry business in Bath founded by James Hibberd in 2021. It makes handmade fitted furniture including alcove cupboards, wardrobes, bookcases, shelving, boot rooms and under stairs storage. The business also fits kitchens, hangs doors, fits skirting, builds fencing, makes garden furniture and pergolas.
All work is carried out off-site in a fully equipped workshop, with hand painting or spray painting completed before installation. Pieces are painted in colours such as Edward Bulmer's French Blue and Farrow & Ball Eddy. Doors are CNC cut for bespoke designs.
The process begins with contact via phone, email or message, followed by a visit to view the workshop, present samples and take measurements. A CAD drawing is provided after a quote is accepted, and adjustments can be made. A 10% deposit is required to proceed, with additional deposits for larger projects to cover materials and pre-build costs. James Hibberd has over 18 years of carpentry experience. Carpentry Creations holds all necessary insurances and qualifications including asbestos awareness.
