About The Cheshire Joiners
The Cheshire Joiners is a joinery business based in Chester, run by directors Jordan Finnan and Gary Clowes. The business makes hand-built kitchens and made to measure furniture, including media walls, mud rooms, boot rooms, wardrobes, living room storage and staircases. Work combines traditional cabinetry techniques with modern design.
The business works with materials such as black oak, painted finishes in Farrow & Ball colours, matt lacquer, LED lighting and antique brass handles. Projects are overseen by the directors at every stage from design and planning through manufacturing, cabinet building and installation. Recent work includes a black oak media wall with touch-to-open drawers, a traditional boot room with shaker doors and a lacquered oak bench seat, a cottage-style living room wall in spray-painted white, and modern wardrobes with internal LED lighting in Hague Blue.
The Cheshire Joiners covers Chester and the surrounding area. Both directors have achieved diplomas in joinery and carpentry and previously worked for prestigious hand-built kitchen manufacturers across the UK. Jordan and Gary oversee the entire process on all projects from start to finish.
