About Jim Mustill Woodwork
Jim Mustill Woodwork is a joinery business based in Hackney. It designs and builds fitted furniture and joinery for homes and small businesses, including bookcases and alcove shelving, solid timber frameworks, bi-folding doors, under-stair storage, personal office and desk spaces. The business also undertakes larger projects as part of architectural and design teams.
Jim Mustill works on pieces made to measure for individual spaces. Recent projects include oak veneered birch staircase shelving in Woodford Green, Victorian external shutters in Bethnal Green, a full-height media and art wall in Limehouse Basin, a 17th-century oak granary rebuild in Great Leighs, Georgian shutters in Forest Gate, and glue-laminated beam structures in Epping Forest. The business designs and builds custom desks, wardrobes, cupboards and complex storage units that combine multiple functions. Pieces are built to fit the specific dimensions and layout of each room or space.
