About Solid Carpentry Ltd
Solid Carpentry Ltd is a joinery company based in Hackney that designs, manufactures and installs bespoke fitted furniture for homes across Greater London. The business specialises in made-to-measure wardrobes, home libraries, media walls, hidden doors and complete fitted interiors. Services also include fitted storage in alcoves, under stairs, and around sloping ceilings and chimney breasts. Each piece is designed specifically for its setting and around clients' needs.
The company works throughout Greater London, including Kensington, Chelsea, Hampstead, Islington and Richmond. Solid Carpentry has traded for more than 15 years and works with homeowners, interior designers, architects and property professionals. The business has experience with Georgian townhouses, Victorian properties and contemporary homes, and understands how to work around uneven walls, irregular layouts and existing services.
Projects begin with a site visit to measure the room and discuss its intended purpose. A CAD design follows, based on the client's requirements and the property's architecture. The furniture is then manufactured in the workshop and installed with care for the client's home and schedule. Solid Carpentry is fully insured for public liability. Projects start from £3,900 for individual made-to-measure cabinets, from £6,900 for fitted storage and wardrobes, and from £11,900 for whole-room interiors. All prices include VAT.
